A tale of race, sexuality and power in Oldham.
A new play by James Harker.
When shy, Disney loving Aminah meets blood-soaked local bruiser Kayla in after-school detention, neither expects to bring a whole community to its knees.
Borderland is a provocative, urgent look at modern-day segregation. This play will challenge liberal and traditional values alike.
James Harker is an award-winning young playwright, short story writer and journalist. His first full-length play, Gary: A Love Story opened in 2015 in Manchester to five star reviews, it went on to win Equity’s ‘Vicky Allen Award’ for ‘Best Play, 2015.’ Borderland is his second play.
